Over the last 20 years, Polish society’s attitude towards people with disabilities has changed for the better. However, we still have not completely rid ourselves of prejudices, fears, and stereotypes.

Sexual interaction represents one of the most important dimensions of interpersonal contacts. Yet sexual needs are unique among mankind's biological needs, in that they are shaped by such powerful cultural and social factors.

Życie seksualne stanowi jedną z istotniejszych płaszczyzn w kontaktach międzyludzkich. Jednocześnie potrzeby seksualne, stanowiące jedną z potrzeb biologicznych człowieka, poddane są - jak żadne inne - przemożnym, kształtującym je oddziaływaniom kultury i społeczeństw.

The Bulletin of the Polish Academy of Sciences: Technical Sciences (Bull.Pol. Ac.: Tech.) is published bimonthly by the Division IV Engineering Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, since the beginning of the existence of the PAS in 1952.
