The moulding sands prepared on the basis of three kinds of sands, i.e. quartz, olivine and chromite sands were analyzed. In order to determine the properties of moulding sands, typical determinations were made, i.e. moisture content, flowability, permeability, strength properties and abrasion wear. The obtained results indicate that it is possible to use barley malt as an independent binder for masses made of quartz, olivine and chromite sands.}, type={Article}, title={Effect of Matrix Type on Properties of Moulding Sand with Barley Malt}, URL={http://www.journals.pan.pl/Content/131243/AFE%202_2024_02.pdf}, doi={10.24425/afe.2024.149266}, keywords={Moulding sands, Barley malt, Properties of moulding sands}, }
