 abstract={The study concerns cities with a large decline in the number of inhabitants, which leads to depopulation, called the ‘shrinking cities’. In the study of these processes, demographic, social and economic aspects are most often analyzed. However, only the spatial aspects allow defining the specificity of the shrinkage process of selected cities. The article aims to evaluate the indicators and illustrate the diversification scale of the shrinkage process of selected cities.},
